Back in 2012 I did 500 job applications and had 497 declines. The 3 Yes-s allowed me to immigrate to London.
My grandma believed I'm a failure because I didn't get married and become a housewife. The urge to grow outside of poverty and be more than my family background helped me to win 7 industry awards and become an Associate Partner in a male dominated technology industry in under 7 years - something only few women manage to succeed.
Our generations were taught to hide failures and show ourselves in the best light. But when we bury our stories about failures, out of shame or humiliation, we miss out on a valuable opportunity for growth.
What if we change our mindset and start believing that failure is an opportunity to grow?
My TEDxTalk "Fail but never give up" will inspire you to let the failures be your catalyst and motivate you to adapt. It is in top 0.5% of watched TEDx globally (watched by over 140k people in first month), is being translated into 22 languages and has reached the Top 10 World’s most watched TEDx talks released in December 2021. 
At work I focus on consulting major Financial Services organisations in the topics of Digital, Cloud & Data. Outside work I actively give back to the community, through mentoring #immigrants and #womeninbusiness of diverse cultural and social backgrounds - so we can all look at our failure as an opportunity, instead of a setback.
